Annika Sorenstam plays professional golf in Sweden. She is known as one the most successful female golfers of all time. Prior to stepping back from competitive golf at the conclusion of 2008's season, she was a winner of more than 90 international championships while a professional making she the golfer who has the most wins to her name. Annika Sorenstam's biography: Annika Sorenstam was a female Swedish golfer who was known for her impressive performances. When she left the tournament, it was the end of the 2008 season. Annika has become the best female golfer of all time having won over the title in 90 international events. Annika won 72 LPGA tournaments and ten majors. Also, she won 18 events in different countries. Annika is born the 9th October 1970. She also turned 50 in 2020. Tom and Gunilla were the parents of Annika. Tom was an IBM executive while her mother was employed by the bank. Her sister, who is also a professional golfer, and an Annika Academy coach was the one who has been coaching at Annika. Two sisters were among the very first players on the LPGA Tour to hit the 1,000,000 mark. Mike McGee is her husband and they have two children, Madelyn McGee & William Nicholas McGee. Annika and Mike married each other on the 10th of January, 2009. Annika has been a great golfer from the time when she was a kid. She also played junior soccer and was a national tennis champion. The family opted to relocate to Sweden for the purpose of continuing her career because she was also a fantastic skier. She became the first woman to ever win the ALPG Australia tour, and also qualify for qualifying for the LPGA championship in 1994. Annika finished at the top of 3 and won the LPGA Rookie of the Year award. Annika took home the first LPGA Tour event in 1995 in her first major, the US Women Open. She was the only non-American winner of the Vare trophy. Annika is also the top performer on the Money List. Annika decided not to play in 2008. In the same night, she threw the first pitch of baseball in the contest. The most recent win on tour was during the playoff in the Suzhou Taihu lady's open. It was sponsored by Ladies European Tour and Ladies Asian Tour.
