Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born October 17 1992) is a popular Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu films and also in a few of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress as the actress Savitri in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Three SIIMA Awards were also given to her, as was a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. The career of Keerthy began in the 2000s when she was a child actor. She returned to film after studying the field of fashion. Her first main role as a lead in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy made her debut on Tamil projects in 2015 and started accepting projects from Malayalam. In 2015 she released A. L. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against one another. But, both films did not do well at the theaters. To accommodate larger projects due to her hectic schedule, she was forced to opt from a few films which she started to work on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romantic comedy) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She worked in two films that came out in quick succession, together with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note on Prabhu's Thodari. However, the film is being delayed from 2015 with reports of release after September, 2020 with a brand new title Janakitho Nenu. The debut film is Nenu Sailaja in 2016, featuring actress Ram Pothineni. In January, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa, opposite actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
